St Patrick's Day: Chicago-Style

Last year on Saint Patrick's Day, I was big pregnant and didn't really feel up for celebrating. This year, we decided to experience Chicago and enjoy the time we have here. In the morning, we packed up the kids and took the train downtown to the Chicago river where we knew they would be dyeing the river green.

When we first got there, we looked at the river and said "You know, the river already is greenish. Are we going to be able to tell when it is dyed?"

We decided to skip the parade before we even went downtown, but we really enjoyed the festive and fun outfits and activities!
