Where has the time gone?

Joshua will be 6 weeks old this week. It is crazy how fast the time flies! When we first brought him home, his newborn diapers and onesies were drowning him. We have since moved on to the size 1 diapers and the 0-3 month onesies. Its a little sad to see how big he's getting, but thrilling at the same time. We sure love this little boy with all of our hearts! Here are some of the promised pictures. They are not in chronological order, and the format on the computer is being weird.

Daddy time!

We discovered that he doesn't particularly love hats.

He is such a calm, happy baby!

Grandma Monson sure loves him!

Such tiny hands.

Two and a half weeks old

I love his little toes!

July 3--Independence day celebrations wore us both out.

Grandpa Monson gets to know his grandson.

I love that he fits in the rocking chair. That outfit is now getting to be too small for him.

The burp cloth had to suffice as a blanket--I had forgotten to get one on the way out the door.

His neck muscles are getting stronger.

Luckily, he really is a quiet baby. Josh had spit up all over the place and I needed to change myself after getting him cleaned up. I'm not sure if Steve know that he had wrapped his arm around Josh while I changed, but it was just so cute, I couldn't pass it up.

He squeaks when he eats, so he has been given the nickname "Squeaker".

He's so cute! He started smiling at us this week. It really is a parental payday!

Seriously--it looked good before I published it and I have tried to fix it twice. Just follow the comments along the side.

6 weeks already? I hadn't realized so much time had passed. Oh wow, Adam turns 7 months next week. They grow so quickly that first year.

Lots of love to you,
Becca
