Some important dates to remember:
April 18th--8:15pm engagement to a wonderful man!
August 7th--10am wedding in the Mount Timpanogos Temple to my wonderful fiance, Steven Douglas Monson
(Fiance is a fun word to say! Did you know that, as a French word and Steve speaks French..., that if I were saying the word, it would be spelled "fiance" with an accent on the 'e'. If Steve were referring to me, it would be "fiancee" with an accent on the first 'e'. Just a fun fact for you.)
We didn't take any pictures up in the canyon when he proposed, but a few people took pictures just after church today.

This is the beautiful ring that Steve pulled out of his pocket when he proposed! He had contacted my roommate, Camille, two weeks before and asked her about the ring that I wanted, since I had picked out a ring that I really liked even before we were ever dating. So when he found out that the ring that I really wanted was no longer made, he went and picked this one out. I love it!

I feel like I'm allowed to kiss him in public now! Scandalous!

I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!

AHHHHHHHH! I feel like a failure as a cousin-in-law...I didn't even know you'd picked out a ring!=) You're still going to Hawaii right?
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Someday we'll have to meet this boy...
And I must add...those are some super sassy pictures...you may want to add a parental advisory warning to your blog. j/k
And grogal...we DON'T want to see tHERE. But thanks for spamming a perfectly happy little blog post with your completely irrelevant viral-infested comment.
Yeah, so I don't know what grogal is, and it kind of ticks me off, so...
Anyway, I'm way excited for you to meet this Steve of mine! We actually didn't go ring shopping--he picked it out and I couldn't be happier because it is SO beautiful!
I'll work on the parental advisory...
Gorgeous...all of it.
Congratulations to you both. We're excited for you.
With Love from The Ahlstroms
p.s. Your dad sent us an e-mail yesterday with all the good news about the Nufer family
Somehow I missed the address for your blog on the family website until now (I must have been having a mommy moment when I read that post . . . )- anyway- love it! It is great to learn more about my soon to be sister-in-law!
I completely remember what it was like to be engaged at BYU - we got made fun of a lot for our OBVIOUS love for one another (everyone else was just jealous, right???) Oh- and I LOVE your ring! I'll have to tell Steve he did well . . .
Yeah Becky, we are an obnoxious engaged couple. I always swore I wouldn't be one, but here it is and its fun! :)
